Cornwall Antenatal Classes

I offer a tailor made approach to childbirth preparation. This service is available to all, whether you have booked a hypnobirthing workshop with me or not. I aim to enable you to become prepared and confident about your baby's birth.

I can visit you in the comfort of your own home, or at my practice room in Helston, at times to suit you, to help you prepare for your birth in any way you wish. Topics can include any of the following, and more. Most importantly though, I'm there to listen to you and support you both unconditionally.


  ♥  How to create a good birth environment at home, birth unit or hospital
  ♥  The birth process - stages, hormones, how the body and baby work together
  ♥  Your rights, assertive communication and writing your birth preferences
  ♥  Comfort measures - medical / non-medical (waterbirth, TENS etc)
  ♥  Interventions, assisted and caesarean birth
  ♥  How to get breastfeeding off to the best start / safe artificial feeding
 

Fee... All visits are charged at £20 an hour, to a maximum of £100 plus travel expenses. Further free support is available on an on-going basis via email, phone and text... even during labour, day or night.
