Calmtime is a 1 hour CD containing 2 tracks that blend music, science and natural sounds with the lullaby effect - the intimate sounds of melodic humming - and warm, gentle music to create an atmosphere of calm and comfort that anyone can use.
 
Calmtime has been developed in conjunction with dedicated musicians, pregnant women and families in Cornwall. The tracks have been specifically designed to emulate the body's natural rhythms. This produces a deeply relaxed, natural state of wellbeing. It's perfectly safe, gentle, natural and very effective.
 
Research has found that calm, soft music played during pregnancy and childbirth can relieve expectant mothers' anxiety, reduces blood pressure, helps to regulate breathing and promotes the release of endorphins (the body's natural painkillers) - reducing the need for medical pain relief and its potential complications.
 
The Calmtime CD has also been designed especially to help soothe, relax and calm your baby - in the womb and after birth. Babies recognise music that has been played before their birth and will calm down on repeated listening.
