Strength, safety and durability...
Pools are made from the thickest 0.42mm eco-vinyl with vertical L-beam construction to prevent flooding in the rare event of a puncture. All pools are test inflated and left to stand for 24 hours before dispatch. A puncture repair kit is included free, but punctures are very rare.
Big enough to accommodate women of all shapes and sizes...
You won't need a bigger pool, honestly! La Bassine is ideally sized - plenty of room to move and change position easily, providing the all important 'cocoon-like' environment whilst not taking over your house or taxing your hot water supply!
What do we need?
Our birth pool and essential kit is all you need for your home waterbirth, and you can choose from our optional accessories too. If you'd prefer to tailor-make your own package you can select the pool on its own and add individual kit items and optional accessories to your basket.
Liner?
It's up to you. Whilst being a bit wasteful and not strictly necessary from a hygiene perspective, you might prefer to keep the pool itself clean, so can choose to add this to your order should you wish.
Cover?
A heat retention cover isn't necessary, so we don't make one! The pools have excellent insulation properties and you can get the same minimal heat retention from some bubble-wrap floating on the surface, should you wish to make your own!
Delivery...
Next day (Mon-Fri) courier delivery is charged at £9.95 for all orders to mainland UK. The daily cut-off time for next day delivery is 12pm.
