Payments
Transactions are handled by ‘Nochex’ - This is a UK-based, trustworthy and secure method of payment. Sensitive information is encrypted in transit using (SSL) protocol and the highest commercially available encryption key length of 128-bits provided by VeriSign. Customers can access Shopper Support if they have a query about payment. See www.nochex.com. PayPal payment is also available. Postal payments are made in the form of a cheque made payable to ‘A. Kirby’ and sent to 'Carne Skyber', Black Rock, Camborne, TR14 9NG. Orders paid via cheque will be dispatched once funds have cleared.
Standard Delivery times
Please note that working days are Monday to Friday only. La Bassine orders completed before 12pm Mon-Thurs will be dispatched via courier directly from the manufacturers' warehouse the same day. BuddhaBellies DVDs and Calmtime CDs are dispatched via Royal Mail Second Class post by 5.15pm on weekdays. The 6 week TENS hire package is delivered for the beginning of your 37th week. Delivery times are given as a guide only, and occasionally circumstances beyond our control can delay delivery times. We accept no liability arising from products arriving after their stated delivery times, but makes every endeavour to work with suppliers to ensure that stated delivery times are realistic.
Out of Stock Items
If items are out of stock, customers will be notified of the expected delivery time and offered an alternative product or refund, if dissatisfied.
Insurance
All deliveries are insured against loss or damage in transit.
Cancellations and Refunds
In compliance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order with us. However, you must exercise your right within seven working days of receiving the goods and you must inform us in writing of your wish to cancel the order - either by email or post.
Refunds and exchanges are given if products are out of stock or are reported as faulty and returned within 7 days of receipt. Refund requests for any other reason will incur a £5 restocking charge and products must be returned in an unopened, unused condition within 7 days of receipt (your ‘cooling off’ period). Refunds will be paid within 30 days of purchase.
Any fault with La Bassine will be investigated by the manufacturer after you return your pool to them within 7 days of receipt, and a replacement will be sent within 15 days, as well as reimbursement for delivery costs (This warranty does not cover punctures, cuts and abrasions caused by careless use or improper storage).
Returns
Providing the reason for return meets the conditions set out above, and items haven’t been reported as ‘faulty’, you may return the items at your own cost within 7 days of receipt - this will not be reimbursed. Items must be returned in their original packaging, in an unopened, unused condition suitable for resale. Birth Support reserves the right to refuse refunds for the return of damaged/used goods and false claims of faulty goods.
La Bassine: Your warranty does not cover; punctures, cuts and abrasions sustained by careless use or improper storage. In cold weather please ensure that your pool is able to rest in room temperature for 24 hours before inflation, as PVC can be brittle in low temperatures. Over inflation is a major cause of leaks. Do not inflate with a compressor or high pressure pump. Inflating this item to full hardness can damage the seams.

If purchasing a La Bassine birth pool or TENS hire, you consent for your contact information to be passed securely to the relevent third-party companies (Made in Water Ltd and BirthTENS respectively) for the purpose of processing your order. You will never intentionally receive any unwanted marketing information (spam) from Birth Support or third party companies.
