Delivery Costs
All items paid for and dispatched to
UK
mainland addresses are exempt from delivery charges (for La Bassine - only if accompanied with a pool via standard delivery). If you would like your items sent to the highlands and islands, internationally, or quicker than the times advertised, a premium charge will be applied. Contact us to arrange this. Any redelivery charges due because the customer was unable to receive or collect their goods within the designated time period will be charged at an at-cost rate.
Payments
Transactions are handled by

This is a UK-based, trustworthy and secure method of payment.
Sensitive information is encrypted in transit using (SSL) protocol and the highest commercially available encryption key length of 128-bits provided by VeriSign. Customers can access Shopper Support if they have a query about payment. See www.nochex.com. PayPal payment is also available.
Postal payments are made in the form of a cheque made payable to ‘A. Kirby’ and sent to 'Morwenna', Gander Lane, Helston, Cornwall, TR13 8NU. Orders paid via cheque will be dispatched once funds have cleared.
Standard Delivery times
Please note
that working days are Monday to Friday only. La Bassine orders completed before 11.45am Mon-Thurs will be dispatched via courier directly from the manufacturers' warehouse the same day. BuddhaBellies DVDs and Calmtime CDs are dispatched via Royal Mail Second Class post by 5.15pm on weekdays. TENS express purchases are delivered within two working days, if ordered by 3pm Mon-Thurs. The 6 week TENS hire package is delivered for the beginning of your 37th week. Delivery times are given as a guide only, and occasionally circumstances beyond our control can delay delivery times. We accept no liability arising from products arriving after their stated delivery times, but makes every endeavour to work with suppliers to ensure that stated delivery times are realistic.
Out of Stock Items
If items are out of stock, customers will be notified of the expected delivery time and offered an alternative product or refund, if dissatisfied.
Insurance
All deliveries are insured against loss or damage in transit.
Cancellations and Refunds
In compliance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000,
you have the right to cancel your order with us. However, you must exercise your
right within seven working days of receiving the goods and you must inform us in
writing of your wish to cancel the order - either by email or post.
Refunds and exchanges are given if products are out of stock or are reported as faulty and returned within 7 days of receipt. Refund requests for any other reason will incur a £5 restocking charge (£14.95 for La Bassine orders) and products must be returned in an unopened, unused condition within 7 days of receipt (your ‘cooling off’ period). Refunds will be paid within 30 days of purchase.
Any fault with La Bassine will be investigated by the manufacturer after you return your pool to them within 7 days of receipt, and a replacement will be sent within 15 days, as well as reimbursement for delivery costs (This warranty does not cover punctures, cuts and abrasions caused by careless use or improper storage).
Returns
Providing the reason for return meets the conditions set out above, and items haven’t been reported as ‘faulty’, you may return the items at your own cost within 7 days of receipt - this will not be reimbursed. Items must be returned in their original packaging, in an unopened, unused condition suitable for resale. Birth Support reserves the right to refuse refunds for the return of damaged/used goods and false claims of faulty goods.
La Bassine: Your warranty does not cover; punctures, cuts and abrasions sustained by careless use or improper storage. Please ensure that your pool is able to rest in room temperature for 24 hours before inflation, as PVC can be brittle in low temperatures. Over inflation is a major cause of leaks. Do not inflate with a compressor or high pressure pump. Inflating this item to full hardness can damage the seams.

The Buyer agrees to release and hold harmless Seller and/or any agent thereof, its members, employees, associates and affiliated manufacturers from any and all responsibility or liability for maternal complications, infant mortality or morbidity, or injury to any or all persons in connection with use of said MADE IN WATER LIMITED birth pool that may occur before, during and/or after labour and/or birth in MADE IN WATER LIMITED birth pool provided by Seller. The Buyer specifically holds the Seller harmless from any claims made by third parties, as well as any damage or injury to property occasioned by the use of the MADE IN WATER LIMITED birth pool. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
